Carol Wilson Named to D Magazine Best Lawyers in Dallas for 8th Year
Congratulations to Carol Wilson for being named to D Magazine’s 2026 list of the Best Lawyers in Dallas for her work in family law.
To earn a spot on the list, D Magazine’s editors collect nominations from lawyers throughout Dallas/Fort Worth and then conduct an independent review in consultation with an anonymous group of leading local attorneys.

The Law Office of Carol A. Wilson, PLLC, has been recognized for the seventh consecutive year on the Best Law Firms annual list of outstanding legal practices. This achievement recognizes the firm as one of Dallas' premier family law and family law mediation firms.
While Carol is always prepared for the courtroom, knowing that all courts in North Texas require family law cases to undergo mediation before final trial, she has learned to use her skills in navigating mediation to achieve successful outcomes for her clients.

For the eighth year in a row, Carol A. Wilson has been named to The Best Lawyers in America©, which recognizes the top attorneys in the United States. Carol was included in the 2026 edition for her work in family law.
Carol has been Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization for 33 years and has almost 40 years of experience litigating and trying complex divorce, property division, and child custody cases.
She was also recognized for her work in family law mediation and, in fact, was named a 2025 Lawyer of the Year in Dallas/Fort Worth. 2019 Distinguished Alumna Award
In October 2019, Greenville University presented Carol Wilson with the Greenville University Distinguished Alumna Award, which recognizes alumni who have demonstrated notable accomplishment.
Carol, who graduated from Greenville in 1981, is grateful and humbled to receive this honor. She follows in the footsteps of her parents, Dr. James E. Wilson and Wilma L. Wilson, by being honored and leaving a legacy at Greenville University. The faculty became family and pushed her to look beyond the horizon.
